Royal Society Open Science welcomes submissions from researchers working across Engineering.
Professor Kerry Rowe FRS has held the Canada Research Chair in Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering since 2010 and is based at Queen's University. He has been recognized by more than 75 awards for his research and, in 2013, the International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering created the R Kerry Rowe Lecture to honour his seminal contributions to the development of geoenvironmental engineering. He is past president of the International Geosynthetics Society, the Canadian Geotechnical Society and the Engineering Institute of Canada.
Professor Avelino Corma is a professor at the Polytechnical University of Valencia. The main objective of his research is the design of mono and mulitfunctional solid catalysts with isolated and/or well defined catalytic active states.
|Professor Roger Tanner is a professor of mechanical engineering at the University of Sydney. His research interests are applied mechanics, rheology and computation.|
|Professor Jin Jiang is a professor at the University of Western Ontario. His research focuses on the field of control, instrumentation, and electrical systems in nuclear power plants.||Professor Derek Abbott is a professor at the University of Adelaide. His research interests are in the areas of biomedical and biologically inspired engineering.|
|Professor Ian Moore is a professor in infrastructure engineering at Queen's University. He has increasingly focused his research on assessing and managing the stability of deteriorating structures.|
